Make WMP 12 force show original Album Art

Windows Media Player (abbreviated WMP) is a media player and media library application developed by Microsoft that is used for playing audio, video and viewing images on personal computers running the Microsoft Windows operating system, as well as on Pocket PC and Windows Mobile-based devices.But still it has a Flaw....i.e. Album art is re-sized to 200 x 200 pixel

There are few steps to solve this problem...

Before

Steps:-

1. Disable WMP to Retrieve and update track info online..
   for that go to......  Tools > Options..... > Library > and Uncheck "Retrieve additionalinfo from internet"
2. Now there are two Methods to solve the album art problem
   Method 1:(easy Method)                   use this Reg file ...Download
                           (password : internetunchained.blogspot.com)
   Method 2:(Hard)
    Go to the registry path : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferencesthen Create a key with name "PlayerModeAlbumArtSelected" and set its "Value Data" as "0" (without qoutes) (for creating, new key,right-click anywhere inside the window and select "new->DWORD (32-bit) Value"
   then find the key with name "ShowAlbumArt" and set its "Value Data" as "1" (without qoutes)
3. DONE!!!!!!!

We recently reported that Indian Internet service provides (ISP) Reliance Communication had begun blocking video sites like Vimeo and certain torrent services , and now rival Airtel is now doing the same, citing a court order
with the following screen

Both ISPs are said to be preventing customers from accessing a range of popular sites, including Vimeo, DailyMotion, thepiratebay, Isohunt.com, Pastebin and Xmarks, according to Medianama.

Access to the sites is varied for users of other ISPs across the country, the report says.

The mention of a court order suggests that a wider crackdown may on the horizon. Given India’s stance on social media content — and its particular aim to manage ‘harmful content’ on the Web — it is plausible that a court has ordered the shutdown, but it is unclear why certain ISPs are exempt for now.

Quick Heal Antivirus Eating Your Hard Disk Space (must see if you are a QH user)

QuickHeal Growing Fat in Size

Before we begin i want to make an announcement "Quick Heal is the best antivirus i ever used"..


OK, Its about today when i Gaze over my C:/ and saw that there's only 3GB free space remaining,which was 9GB+ two days a go, So i check everything in the drive beginning from My Documents i also performed Disk Cleanup and deleted System restore points,but nothing helped..

Finally i went for "Program Files" and i saw "Quick Heal Total Security" was 8GB+ in size..

an Antivirus taking that much space is totally annoying so i searched net for an answer...but no solution!!!

So i did it manually and Solved it on my own:


If you are Facing the same problem then here is few steps to solve it:

First check out that QH is Eating that much space or not

After that open QuickHeal : Settings > Turn Off "self Protection"
                                           Turn Off QH for 15 mins



Now go to C:/Program Files
>Find Folder named "Quick Heal"  > Quick heal Total Security (Antivrus/ Internet Security)

                                                     >TEMP


Then Delete all the files inside the folder "TEMP"


DONE!!!!!!!!!

Wikipedia Blackout is over.. but the Protest is not done yet!!!

Wikipedia - Let there be light again.....

A 24-hour blackout of the English Wikipedia website has been hailed a success by its founders.

The blackout, which started at 5am on Wednesday, was organised as a protest against two Bills aimed at stopping copyright infringement currently working their way through the US government.

Campaigners say the Stop Online Piracy Act (Sopa) and Protect Intellectual Property Act (Pipa), aimed at stopping copyright infringement by foreign websites, would actually disrupt free expression and harm the internet.


After the act Wikipedia published a page saying thank you for protecting Wikipedia...
